Some love stories start with a grand romantic gesture. Others start in high school math class, where one person has absolutely no idea what they’re doing and the other ends up doing their work for them. 😂
For Emily and Ethan, that was the beginning.
These two have been together since they were just 16 years old. They met in high school, became high school sweethearts, and somehow turned those teenage years into a lifetime of memories together. Now, all these years later, they officially became husband and wife.
And honestly, I think that makes their wedding day at Sovey Stables in Port Elgin, Ontario even more special.

A Love That Was Easy to See
Although I was only there briefly to photograph part of their day, it didn’t take long to see how much these two love each other.
Sometimes you don’t need to spend an entire day with a couple to notice the little things. The way they look at each other, the way they interact, and the way they naturally gravitate toward one another can tell you everything you need to know.
And after knowing each other since they were teenagers, there was something really special about seeing Emily and Ethan together as husband and wife.
And Then There Are the Cats…
Of course, we can’t talk about Emily and Ethan without mentioning their other great love: cats. 😂🐈
These two are seriously obsessed with cats, and honestly, I’m not complaining.
Every couple has those little things that make them them, and for Emily and Ethan, their love of cats is definitely part of their story.
