# Sarah & Remco’s Teeswater Wedding

Sarah and Remco’s wedding celebration was one filled with family, love, laughter, and a little bit of country charm.

Although they officially exchanged vows during a private ceremony at City Hall on September 1, 2026, they celebrated their marriage surrounded by their closest family and friends at their reception on September 5, 2026.

Sarah and Remco first met while they were in school, and it was so special to see the life they have built together celebrated by the people who mean the most to them.

I actually had the pleasure of photographing Sarah and Remco last winter, and during that session, we discovered just how much they loved the photos where they were simply looking at each other. Those natural, quiet moments between them really captured their connection, so when it came time for their wedding day, we knew we wanted to embrace that same feeling.

Throughout their wedding portraits, we incorporated lots of those intimate moments, letting them slow down, look at each other, laugh together, and simply enjoy being together. Some of my favourite images from their day came from those simple moments where they were not focused on the camera at all.

Being in Teeswater, we could not pass up the opportunity to incorporate a little piece of their story into their wedding photography. We headed to Remco’s parents’ farm, where his family raises goats. The farm made the perfect backdrop for portraits with Sarah and Remco, their family, and their bridal party. The combination of the countryside, the animals, and their closest people made these portraits feel incredibly personal to them.

From there, we headed to Sarah and Remco’s own little piece of the country, a small farm they have built together, complete with cows and goats. Capturing photos around their home was such a meaningful part of their day because it gave us the chance to document not only their wedding, but also a little piece of the life they share together.

Their intimate reception brought their closest family and friends together to celebrate their marriage. One of the most fun moments of the evening was their arrival in a Camaro, a car they absolutely love and one that fit them perfectly.

The rest of the evening was all about celebrating. There were plenty of laughs, happy moments, and of course, lots of dancing. With the people they love surrounding them, Sarah and Remco danced the night away and celebrated this next chapter together.

Their day may have been intimate, but it was full of the things that matter most: family, friendship, the places that feel like home, and a whole lot of love.

As a Teeswater wedding photographer, I love getting to photograph celebrations that feel personal to each couple. Sarah and Remco’s day was a perfect example of how your wedding photography can incorporate the places, people, animals, and little details that make your relationship yours.

Congratulations, Sarah and Remco! It was such a pleasure to photograph you again and to capture this next chapter of your story. I’m so glad we got to bring those moments you loved from your winter session into your wedding day and create even more memories for you to look back on for years to come.
